These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of smallbizsim (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

smallbizsim.com provides template-driven financial simulations and feasibility reports for small businesses. The outputs are deterministic estimates based on the assumptions you provide. They are intended as a planning aid only and do not constitute financial, accounting, tax or legal advice.

Accounts

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account.
  • You must be legally able to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction.

Payments and entitlements

Some results and reports are premium features unlocked by payment. Prices are shown before purchase. Payments are processed by our payment provider. Except where required by law, paid digital reports are non-refundable once generated and unlocked.

Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, or access it through unauthorised means.
  • Do not resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission.
  • Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its templates, calculators and content, is owned by smallbizsim and protected by applicable laws. You retain ownership of the assumptions and data you enter.

Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, smallbizsim is not liable for any business, financial or other decisions made in reliance on the Service, nor for any indirect or consequential losses. See our Disclaimer for more detail.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
